Taking New Leaps in My Music: Learning, Looping & Live Streaming
Arriving just in time in my email inbox yesterday was this bit of wisdom from Seth Godin about taking on new challenges:

So, I'm starting from a place of fear, and challenging myself in three major moments, starting this week:
#1: TUESDAY: LIVE LOOPING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN PUBLIC!
THIS TUESDAY I'm looping live for the first time at Yoga Blend. I recently started learning how to loop, and I am incorporating this brand new skillset into my workshop this Tuesday. I am really enjoying the freedom that looping provides, and I am hoping this new medium will allow me to use music as a tool for healing in an exciting new way. I'll be vocal looping as well as playing live guitar and singing along for this experience that combines yoga, music, movement, meditation and chanting.

#2: TUESDAY, JULY 26TH DEBUTING NEW TUNES OPENING FOR KC's HEROES
The following Tuesday I'll be performing with an all-new band, with some new tunes, opening for my family, KC Carnage's band, KC's Heroes. They are a super fun live soul-funk-rock band, and I always have an amazing time at their shows! I'm honored that I get to help KC kick off her residency of free shows at Boardner's (no cover!) I start at 10PM.
#3: AUG 12TH: ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF "KING BENJAMIN'S ROYAL HEART" LIVESTREAMING EVENT!
On August 12th I'll be commemorating the one year anniversary of my album's release with a full livestreaming show from my very own living room! More info to come on how to watch, but I'll be doing a lot of new tunes as well as my favorite songs from the album! This will be a huge leap for me because I've never tried livestreaming professionally before (I'm collaborating with some really awesome people on this!) I know that there are great rewards on the other side of my fear. I am excited to grow, and to learn, and to challenge myself this month.
