JOY, HOPE, PEACE & LOVE...
Hey friends,
We had a really fantastic Royal Heart Tribe Experience today, exploring self-love together while the rain poured down on the roof of The 11:11, beautifully underscoring our time together.
THANK YOU to everyone who attended, braving the LA rain on a Sunday morning! And if you're interested in attending next month, the date is March 10th at The 11:11!
AM I WORTHY, WITHOUT...?
(Pictured above: Ben Caron, photo by Molly May McMahan assisted by Rexx Thomas.)
Am I worthy, without...? We have evolutionarily adapted to become social survivors. Being accepted and included in "the group" promises not only access to resources, but to dignity, love and most direly life. So when the group communicates: To belong, you must own these clothes. To have worth, you must wear makeup. To be included, you must be young. To be valuable, you must have money. To have dignity, you must be approved. It’s easy to see why we are conditioned to not love ourselves. The question becomes: Without the clothes, Without the makeup, Without my youth, Without money, Without approval, Am I worthy of dignity, love and life? Yes. Always.

🔥 SELF-LOVE LANGUAGES
Years ago I read The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman, which taught me a lot about how I like to receive and give love, and the importance of finding those preferences out for the people you love. My friend Carrie Rienegal shared this meme that explores the idea of "self-love languages," which are ways to show love to yourself.
🔥 SELF-ACCEPTANCE
This op-ed from DailyOm seems mighty appropriate for this month's "self-love" and "self-forgiveness" theme! It begins, "There is no such thing as a good person or a bad person. There are choices and actions that lead us in different directions, and it is through those choices and actions that we create our realities." Read more here.
🔥 Dr. Brené Brown: CULTIVATING LOVE THROUGH VULNERABILITY
Dr. Brené Brown is a brilliant scholar who has written powerful books on courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. I love this quote from her about cultivating love , below:
